This is a spot where the rhythm of dining is dictated by genuine enjoyment rather than hurried service, allowing the experience to unfold naturally.

At the heart of the experience is the kitchen’s homage to Cantonese flavors, brought to life through dim sum crafted with care and seafood dishes that carry the delicate touch of coastal influences. Here, the familiar comfort of steamed dumplings and baked egg tarts coexist with more unique creations like sautéed lobster in creamy E-Fu noodles and richly flavored congee. Each bite feels thoughtfully executed, offering a sense of connection to the culinary traditions and lively food culture of Hong Kong, only steps away from the Richmond streets.

The attentive staff maintain a steady rhythm, guiding guests through the variety of offerings with efficiency, yet their focus remains on the shared human moment around the table rather than speed or spectacle. Great location, easy accessible. Food are great portion and good value. The taste is great, like back to Hong Kong. Recommend to try during the weekday, more relax and less people to wait for the tables.

Get here early for less wait! Great dim sum place with some different variety food items that are less conventional. Each item was tasty and flavorful . Staff is efficient, but with volume there is a time limit in seating, which is fine for a small group.

The food was very good but over priced for what you get. Dependable but nothing stood out as amazing. I forgot to take pictures of most of the dishes. The restaurants in Vancouver close remarkably early (21:30 on a Saturday???). A waiter came around at 21:00 asking if we wanted to order anything else, we asked if dessert could be ordered later and he said that was fine... Of course when we tried to order dessert it was too late. But overall I would say the deal was decent just over priced. We did get a huge lobster but even simple dishes were at least $40.

Awesome Dim Sum experience, so authentic that most of the service workers didn't speak English. The food was on point, with great portion sizes. Everything was executed to perfection and there was no bad dish we ordered. We will definitely be coming again next time we are in Richmond.

If you're craving top-tier Cantonese cuisine in Richmond, Yue Restaurant won’t disappoint. Here’s why it’s earned a happy spot on my list: Cozy Ambiance & Comfort The seating is noticeably plush and inviting—perfect for lingering over a leisurely meal. Whether you’re catching up with friends or settling in for a family celebration, the layout strikes the right balance between casual and refined. Attentive & Welcoming Service The staff at Yue are always on their toes—quick to refill tea, clarify menu items, and accommodate requests. They strike just the right chord: friendly and efficient without being overbearing. Stellar Cantonese Offerings From classic spring rolls and roasted duck to delicate seafood dishes, the Cantonese selection hits all the right notes in flavor and presentation. Every dish feels thoughtfully prepared and in harmony with traditional tastes. Dim Sum & Dinner—an All-Day Delight Known far and wide for its dim sum, Yue certainly lives up to the hype. These bite-sized treasures are impeccably executed: fresh, fluffy, and full of flavor. But don’t stop there—dinner is equally impressive. The dinner menu boasts an impressive range of Cantonese standards, with each dish tasting as thoughtfully curated as the next. The Verdict: Yue Restaurant is a standout among Richmond’s Cantonese spots. With great food, cozy charm, and top-notch service, it earns its reputation as a go-to for dim sum—and proves equally reliable for a satisfying evening meal.

Dinner with family for 9 people. Service is too notched. Our plates were changed at least 2-3 times. Fish and shrimp were delicious! My family thought some dishes were more salty than others (not consistent) but I personally think it’s great. Server also recommended chef’s dishes to us which were appreciated. We had kids and they put us in a corner table which were very thoughtful. Comes to about $50 per person with seafood and duck/chicken. Highly recommended.
